Bored with WoW, Need PvP game

So after playing wow since beta(quit for a month here and there) im finally done, i cant stand it anymore.

I loved WoW's world pvp right when the honor system came out...



I played DAOC and liked it alot, but it seems to be dieing, merging servers/ect



Tired SWG free trial, wasnt too bad, but didnt pvp



Im thinking of playing COH/COV, any ideas on how good the PvP in those games are?



I really cant wait for warhammer. WoW as of now seems 75% pve, and 25% pvp, WAR i heard is more 75% pvp 25% pve    (my kind of game)



If anyone has an idea of a good PvP game, let me know!

    I've heard good things about it, but it seems completely different then any game i've played.  Played mostly Fantasy games, maybe ill try it.

    Lineage 2 or Archlord have open PvP but both also have really big grinds :/

    How long are you willing to wait to get ur PvP fix ? Games like Eve or Archlord or Lineage 2 will have you grinding for 6 months to 1-2 years before you can do some meaningful PvP. The only game that will allow you to get into PvP quick would be Guild Wars and that will take you 2-4 weeks depending on your dedication to grind out quests and level up.

    Games I've played/tried out:WAR, LOTRO, Tabula Rasa, AoC, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, Vangaurd, FFXI, D&DO, Lineage 2, Saga Of Ryzom, EvE Online, DAoC, Guild Wars,Star Wars Galaxies, Hell Gate London, Auto Assault, Grando Espada ( AKA SoTNW ), Archlord, CoV/H, Star Trek Online, APB, Champions Online, FFXIV, Rift Online, GW2.

    Game(s) I Am Currently Playing:

    GW2 (+LoL and BF3)

    I've got a similar situation..gettin kinda sick of the MMO market, what I'm probably gonna do is go for Guild Wars since it'll have the smallest grind which lets you get into the good content and PvP faster. Its also got that wonderful one time fee so I don't feel obligated to play 24/7.

    Just suck it up and wait for AoC or Warhammer. Both are looking to be extremely good PvP centric games, and each appeals to a different playstyle. Shadowbane and DAoC respectively are the only two already out that compare to those to be honest, and like you observed already, both are slowly dying out. A good freind of mine rather accurately observed SB to be an "exceptionally animated corpse of an MMO", its one of those that looks more lively than it actually is.



    If you really can't wait, go ahead and grab one of the Guild Wars chapters and engage in some meaningless arena pvp fights.
