i also noticed that about 5 realms or servers or W/E they are called were set up in about a three day period which to me ment a very high pop. on the already about 13 servers..... thats my question how has the game turned out
i played the 14 day free trail about two months after the game went live....please if anyone can fill me in im really looking to come back to the game....

- More dungeons were added.
- Level cap raised to 14 (last year it was Level 10)
- The game is still instance based
- Dead PvP due to imbalance due to equipment, class and levels. (Very few people pvp)
- Players level 6 to 10 are still grinding harbor quest for XP and favor. (They only leave to level up and some haven't done the quests in the market place or beyond)
- No RP goes on in DDO except in RP guild. (Which ironic since DnD was the granddaddy of all roleplaying games.)
- Players are fighting over barrels. (I met beta players in LotR who comes from DDO who confirm this as I've experience this too.)
- Will be adding Monk and Druid soon.
I only played to level 4 last November, but the game wasn't fun. I'm not sure how many server they are now. After this post, you'll have the locate trolls flying in to try and correct me and REPEAT what I'm saying in a effort to censor me. I'm not trying to steer you away from the game, but if you expect something different from the last time you play, you're going to be disappointed. As for these boards, it isn't a good idea to stay here. The boards are dead, the response (even if they are help) are late and the fanboys have turned in trolls they claim to be fighting against. (If you don't believe me, come back in 3 days and see how many posts are made compared to other boards.)
Whenever I've tried it (as recently as last month) I've enjoyed it for the most part. I think they've done a pretty good job with the game.
My problem is that I need to be able to solo. I realize DDO was made for groups, and I'm fine with that. I also realize they're adding solo content. That's good for me. Perhaps when those additions are sufficiently finished I'll pick it up again.
