Need help choosing shaman / rogue

in World of Warcraft

Well , a friend of mine is going back on WoW and i did'nt played since 2004. I have a lv 60 rogue and 60 shaman and will need to transfert one of them on the server my friend will choose to play, I look at their new skill 60-70 and i really don't know which one i'm willing to transfert yet!

I love doing pvp / raid / group and gank people if needed.....

How a rogue is doing in pvp / group / pve  with normal gear now ??  Can i have fun grouping with a warrior ??

how is the shaman ...................................................... ?

 

Been a while  and i remember having fun with both my rogue and shaman everynight back then , but because of money i will have to choose one of them ! I think to go back mostly for pvp because i'm having fun with a pve game right now already !!!

    Go rogue!



    Trust me, right now shamans shouldn't be touched. Rogues on the other hand are probaly one of the most ballanced classes in WoW atm while a lot of other classes go through a limbo of nerfs/buffs/whatever.

    Thanks Nadril ,thats a very good reason why i should'nt go back with shaman.

    Do they improved the crafting with the expension ?? I mean like Eng ?? i think my rogue was Eng. and my shaman was alchemiste...

    I think they are planning on helping out engineering a bit but its hard to tell with blizzard. There are some really nice crafted items though in the expansion.

    I'm installing the old version now and will go look for a site to find a digital version of the game !

    Engineering is currently very weak in the 300+ range. However Blizzard has promised to deal with the matter.

    Not to flame or anything, but I think you meant to say, you haven't played since 2005. Since the game was released in the US in Nov 2004.



    However:

    A Rogue would be the best choice for PVP, but if you want to group with your Warrior friend a Shaman is a better complimentary class.

    Oh yeah! it`s true , i had just check my payment record and i had paid for 6month on nov 2004 right away.

    Well i know my friend Warrior is leveling very fast and i won`t be able to catch him before lvl 70 probably. So we think to pvp together mostly. If i remember , with bandage and potion you can lvl pretty fast solo if they did`nt change that.

    Can someone give me a link where i could download all the damn patch ??

    I will go buy the expension soon, is there all the update on it or i have to download 2 years of patch ?

    a shaman  would do good in a group! as for PvP i agree that the rogue is one of the well-balanced class ATM. but anyway, rogues would still be good in a group and shammies on PvP as well. so there, Good Luck in choosing!

    you can just install the game and login, all the patches will be downloaded automatically. If you're looking to minimize the amount of patching, I'd download the free trial version instead since it should be patched to either the latest or close to the latest patch, which is 2.0.10

    And yeah I'd go rogue too, unless you want people to say to you "you're not healing? We'll get someone else, thanks" a lot.

    Blood Elf Paladins pwn pretty good right now. Nothing like being able to silence and cast with the same character.

    i'll go for a dual purpose character which i find in shamans..so ill go choosing shaman..best for group instance and also pvp..DW with a great DPS

    Shaman are fubar right now. Unless u desperately love resto don't touch shaman with a barge pole.
