Just ran a search on good ol' YouTube.

Got this one.. apparently it was made back in beta a bit before NDA was lifted.

As PvP videos go, it is a bit hard to tell exactly what is happening where, but anyone who has PvP'd extensively should recognize the action no problem. 

edit:  In case you've missed the particulars, the Spiders and Wolves are also players, they are 2 of the monster choices. .

    curious, in "monster play" would a player ever be known like in other PvP games?  I assume at least your names carry over and are visible.

    guess my point is, how anonymous are you during PvP?  How well are players remembered during PvP battles?

    You create you mp character like any other character, he is yours forever , with what ever unique name you give him. He is lvl 50 and you level his ranks to unlock traits and different boosts.

    It is amazing how you will remember the names of those pesky rank 5 wargs that keep running you down. Shadowmaw and Garuxi are some of those I'll never forget.

    As Mars pointed out, you really don't carry your name over from your good guy character. You create a completely different unique name for your monster char that is visible to your opponents. So it's perfectly feasible to continue the "I beat you that time" banter on the forums just like in other games.

    Is there a minimum level tha you need to be able to pvp as a mob?  And who do you have to talk to in order to do it?  I don't se the option when I try and create a character, are only GMs and select others able to do so at this point in beta?

    At level 10 you unlock your Monsters. 

    At level 40 players can bring their main good character into the same zone to battle and quest, etc.

    Dude,  we started seiging TA at  12 pm , it is now 11:27 , I took breaks for personal stuff , but for the most part this one Keep's siege has been going on for almost 12 hours now LOL

    Heh, man I love those spiders to death. Hope they get a buff, kind of weak last I heard.

    I've been playing monster play since the last 3 weeks and it is very much a player vs player environment.

    You just need to get in thier and see for yourself.

    Granted , there are gaps inbetween when freeps come, so as a monster we can do quests to get skills , that help us in our next battle.



    So take what your saying , seige against environment , and then add players to that that can use the PVE  to thier advantage when out numbered ...



    I really want to make it crystal clear as possible for you cause I seen you post many times , so I will say it one more time . It is  player monster vs player hero .

    M8 i have done this i dont need any explaining from you.  I know this exact video, and it is nothing but PVE raiding.  And the dwarf are u talking about  at the stairs is on of the elite captains u must fight to get to the top, so please dont try to patronise me.

     

    You can put all the spin on this video all you want, it is nothing but PVE and NO pvp. 

    Lol you talking about going through player heroes to get a keep, this video shows none of that, let me tell you what it does show, because i have done it before.

    1) It shows a raid of monster players

    2) It shows the keep and each of the other places taken

    3) While taking each of the places it shows combat with the gurads at the keep and other camps.

    4) 6 mins of so called PVp film

    5) 5 mins 50 secs of pure pVE raid at each place

    6) shows 10 secs of pvp at the end of the video.

    7) It shows each place has been taken to get destiny points.

    This video claims to be a PVP video, but shows 10 secs of pvp in 6 mins of filming.  Please carry on with the spin of the crap video.

    Lol of course i know ur the monster, for some reason u trying to show that this video is a pvp for some reson by showing a picture of  1 dead lvl 49 player. 

     

    Please show me again where in the video there is any pvp from besides the last 10 seconds.

    Not only will there be the pvp/pve raid mixes, but all of the wilderness in between will be an active battlefield once release hits and populations rises.  Can't wait to see how they expand on it in the future as well.

    I noticed too you guys are arguin with this Denz4 or whatever.. can't believe you haven't blocked this troll yet, he's been a grey bar on my screen for a bit now.

    I just ran pvmp search on youtube, 3 vids pop up, one is the vid I linked at the start of the thread I think..

    also, I have to say my orc looks like the coolest damn thing since I put in my Founder disk.
