GW2 could be interesting, but I wont hold my breath.  The fundamental problem on the PVE side of GW was the lack of end content, since there was no level grind. Basically, at some point, the only thing keeping you going is farming money to go after the only thing left in the game: getting vanity items or titles. And their zeal in fighting bot/pro farmers meant that farming has become more and more of a chore over time.  Basically, controling the economy was more important to them than keeping the players happy. (if you gotta grind, it might as well be a fun grind no?) And in each chapter, they had to somehow ruin the high end content by plaguing it with some retarded concept, like the favor system, city control or the ridiculously boosted creatures of DOA. So, with such a track record, I have some serious doubts that it will be any different in GW2... I am not sure yet, but I think that those news about the end of GW have just successfully severed the last emotional bonds that were keeping me in the game. Thanks Anet!

dopplemmo, my interpretation is that they want to give PvEers content (aka grind). How could you get it the other way around?

I have only read whats available on the web for now regarding GW2, and yes they effectively are going to add some other grind to the PVE crowd. I will reserve my final judgement when it does finally hit the shelves. What I am doing is using their past behavior to predict their hypothetical future behavior. Acts speak louder than words.
