Type of Environment?

Is AoC going to be more of an open-ended world like Asheron's Call or a closed-world like WoW?  I perfer open-ended worlds, because I beleive that it creates more realism and more space for exploring.  Furthermore I hate loading times going from area to area.

You'll probably want someone who knows better then me to answer this one. From what I gather, most of the world will be open, and If I remember right, it wont be just a series of yellow brick roads where for some reason you can't go off the patch because some grass or bushes are in the way. Outside of that I think the border kingdoms and the guild cities and keeps are going to be instanced so that player cities wont litter the landscape and pvp battles don't end up being a slide show.
