Sony unveils its new 3D universe

Sony is hoping to replicate the success of social networks and Second Life with a feature called Home.

Playstation 3 gamers will be able to meet, chat and share content with friends inside a 3D universe...

    Second Life Fanatics?  The whole 10 of them?  Seems kinda like a niche market, maybe they are going to make an egyptian themed Trade Skill based Sandbox mmo next.  Sony also has thier Pirate building strategy mmo.

    bah this looks crappy .. so many better VRML worlds out there ...

    an older 3d Modeling/grafx program i use .. offers something called TRUEPLAY ... where you can construct your own virtual world and gallery of models and invite people to come see them in a true 3d world environment ... plus .. its free
