I remember reading in some interview they have had 20,000 people sign up.

You just need to be 18 or older and meet the minimu, required spec.

And CuppaJo said on another thread that in the next few weeks they should start inviting more people into the closed beta.

Signed up well over a month ago, and NO word as of yet...I wonder if anyone else has been waiting as long as I have?   Signed thru the web site...

I signed up about two weeks ago, i haven't heard anything either. I wonder if they check all the beta sign-ups personally or something like that. But they have offcourse more things to think off. So i guess we should just be patient.

As far as we know its still in the friends/family/contest winners beta.

So whilst its disappointing to be waiting - you should be comforted by the fact that its not being rushed.

I signed up for the beta alittle over a month ago as well. 

That game looks like it is going to be really good.

I have also signed up for the beta, and i hope that I get invited, couse I have been waiting for so long Sci-Fi MMO game. It is even more special becous the game is made by Richard Garriott

I too signed up some time ago.  But I have recently either heard or read an interview where they said the developers were going to gather up the applications for at least a few months before they leave the friends and family beta, and into a closed public beta.

Well, lets cross our fingers and hope that isn't the case and they'll be taking in applications (more so.. OUR applications) within a shorter span of time!

I signed up for beta shortly after sign-up was allowed...quite awhile ago...but still haven't heard anything either.  But I just checked out my PlayNC account and it knows I'm signed up, so I guess they're not ready yet.  I was in a middle invite wave of closed beta for Auto Assault (PlayNC) so they know I take my beta testing seriously.  I like PlayNC games (well, OK, I'm not sure why Dungeon Runners is coming out, but that's a different topic).  They tend to distribute stuf that's innovative and off the beaten path.  I will continue to support their efforts and hope to get into an early stage of TR beta.

I've been signed up on 2 emails (2 comps) and am over 18. I signed up in early feb..... So yea, expect quite a wait....

I signed up for the beta the day i was able to sign up....
I have actually be contacted by cuppa jo and she said that all of the clans will receive beta keys at the beginning of april, so, we can only be hopeful now....
