No, seriously... Check it out. I started it in the Pub because it was the most legit place I could start it which had the most people frequenting it.

Not necessary. There aren't enough people to fill up the servers we already have.

I don't know about 'love' the game ever again, but Verdantine was never a 'classic' server if by classic you mean 1999 or early 2000 - which is around the time I started playing I believe. I personally don't think that it'll ever happen because few people are willing to voice their opinions clearly enough and in accord with one another at the same time. If you look at my poll, 78% of people who voted are willing to join AC again if they would implement one of my suggestions.

Now if AC was smart, they would at least play off of others' sentiments and begin a server which they would advertise as returning to the old days. If 78% of all people who ever played it joined up on this server again, they'd be earning a fair amount of money again. To be generous, if only 50% of all people who ever played it joined up on this server, the playerbase would be booming on that particular server and they'd be earning a good sum of money still. I bet that even the hardcore players on the other servers would like to try the old-style server again as well. This would only add further to the community feel that AC has lost over the years. True, it will die, but I think that it should be given one last chance for a few years.

If Verdantine is the least populated, and the AC devs don't want to buy a new server, then why not use Verdantine for this idea? If the players in Verdantine object, then they should at least have polls posted for all players of every server to vote on to see if there is any server whose playerbase would be willing to give up their progress on their current characters to revert back to the old days. If not, then they should consider buying a new server - which shouldn't cost much since I doubt the game takes much hardware to run it.  If they did buy a new server, how much time would it require to pay it off, using the income from other players?
