http://www.gamealmighty.com/story-individual/story/Tabula_Rasa_Exclusive_Video_Preview/Linked from a thread in the Planet TR forum, it is in the same style as the E3 '05 and '06 videos, a person playing through the game with a developer commenting. Shaky camera angles and not exactly HD quality but very informative and conveys something more substantial than the short trailers.

I especially liked the nosh-shot, yummy! The presentation was quite enlightening. I was unaware of how the game's dynamics would play, but it looks better than I'd imagined. Now, if they can make it work on a reasonable hardware spec and provide a way to buy time without a credit card, I'll be all over this one. I'm sick to death of game content being blocked off because of forced grouping.
2. You will be able to buy game time cards from what i understand. I did for City of Heroes and this as a NCsoft title should be no exception.
CuppaJo posted over on the questions thread at tr.stratics.com to say the game runs great on her Core 2 Duo PC.
She also said they would have Game Time Cards (GTC) for Tabula Rasa.
As well it should, I would consider any core 2 duo to be a higher end set-up (I know they're not that expensive but they are new to the market). I'm more concerned about the graphical demands, though. It's next to impossible to make an appraisal of the engine from these crummy videos. As long as I can "try before I buy" I'll be content, and I'm still holding out hope for a beta slot.

You shouldnt decide about the game from beta tho, atleast not until the build they have when they drop the NDA, that's when you usually have a good idea of what the game is gonna be like.Didnt expect that it was that good,
i realy love the static npc's, and taking bases with them
damn i cant WAIT !
All the stuff in this video makes me want to play the game more. So far, I can't think of anything about TR that doesn't sound appealing. Soloability, fast travel, character cloning, dynamic battlefields, tactical gameplay, loose level ranges so teaming up at disparate lvls is easier, etc. It all sounds like stuff a true "next gen" MMO should be like.
Can't wait!

We really need a good sci fi MMO and this looks like it will do nicely.
Critical thinking is a desire to seek, patience to doubt, fondness to meditate, slowness to assert, readiness to consider, carefulness to dispose and set in order; and hatred for every kind of imposture.
By the time Tabula Rasa hits the streets (Q3 - September) - the Core 2 Duo will be 12 months old. Which is good as it means more people will have PC's that meet the recommended spec's for the game.
This is a little late, but I just now noticed this. Episode 56 of the MOGArmy.net podcast had a video episode too (I don't have a video iPod so I didn't notice this file until I was goofing around in WMP a few minutes ago.) Anyway, it's footage of the GDC spot with Richard Garriot (same spot as above) with some footage that wasn't in the other (at least I think it's new, it's been a month since I watched the original). It shows the sticky targetting in action and a few other good tidbits that I wish had all been included in the original video.
