First post on mmorpg, and already asking for a beta key!

in Lord of the Rings Online

I have been reading through all the posts about lotro, and the game sounds pretty fun.  I tried Vanguard, but unless you have a cray super computer the frame rates suck.  Currently I am playing SWG, but I am more into fantasy then scifi.  Could someone help with a beta key and a link to download the client.  I am on edge to try lotro.  I have nothing to do today =).  It would be a great day for a beta test.  Thanks guys....

    One of the computer gaming magazines was giving out beta keys.  Or if you preorder then you can start in open beta on March 30th.  (you also get to keep the characters you make in open beta and transfer them to the live game, although they are capped at level 15.)

    Currently playing:
    LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)

    Looking Foward too:
    Bioware games (Dragon Age & Star Wars The Old Republic)

    Please intend to beta test.  I know it is close to the end but this is still a beta.  Too many people are trying to get a free trial with no intention of actually helping with the final product.  Worst still is they are using this 'closed beta' to determine their final impressions of the game.

    If you just want a free trial, but don't care about helping with the test, wait until open beta at least.. the number of people ingame right now who care nothing about submitting bugs is out of hand.  Always someone in chat complaining about a bug instead of /bugging it. 

    Not directed at you in particular, but anyone seeking beta.. you'd have better luck on the main forums if you post expressing a wish to help work out the bugs... I did, and was given a key from another player.  True to my word I spen much time with my /bug window open still to this day,  I'm going to be playing this, and I want it as bug free as possible.
