One part of being addicted to a mmorpg it is cheaper then when you do not have a current sub going

I have been mmorpg less now for a while. Though was albe to land a few betas none grabbed me was very hopeful though.

End result, we spent more then we would have had we just had a regular monthly fee and still enjoying whatever it was we were playing.

In a way i do think it is neat for those still into whatever it is they are playing rather it be any of the ones on the list or even eve.

So when mmorpg less do you find youself spending more on other games rather pc or console games?

So in that way i cannot bring myself to bash the fans of whatever it is they are playing, glad they are still having fun there ......

I've always argued that MMOGs have saved me money. When I'm really enjoying one, I'm not buying another game. When I have no MMOG that holds my attention, I find myself buying a game every week. ($50*4)-($15) = $185 savings every week. It's even cheaper to have 2 or 3 subs open than to keep buying new single-player games.

I agree, MMORPG's have saved me loads of money. However, I do worry that developers will find it harder to make money on single player games because of this, and maybe that is why so few developers seem to risk making anything really different or interesting now. There are very few games coming out that I'm really excited about, just sequels, and games that obviously improve one aspect in on a typical game of that particular genre.
