Are you good at woodcuts?

Those lines in a woodcut will be a bitch. Even MC Escher used basic lines because of the grain.

See, the lines are pretty basic. The intricate lines are very small due to the wood chipping the grain would cause. MC Escher was probably one of the best Woodcut artists to ever live.

im alright at woodcuts i plan on the image being bigger than just an 8x10 and im going to do a multicolor of it.



ive been really getting into woodcuts lately and i thought a abstract design with a lot of suttle details would be a good approach.



this one female artist friend of mine has all of her woodcuts with even more subtle small details then mine and shes insane she basically uses an etching needle and spends hours and hours scratching into woodcuts to get the finest detail.
