Official DAOC forums?

Are there any official (or semi official) forums for daoc? on the herald site they keep referring to the message boards, but I have been unable to find these.

 

so are they non existant or am I just overlooking them?

I don't know how official they are, but VN-boards are one place if you're looking for daoc-forums. I've never been there personally, I've never had any reasons to be there

VN is a great place to go if you are able to ignore all the BS. Lot of flaming idiots there, but  a lot of really good info as well. Its the main place I know of that has weekly raid postings and the Camelot Classes boards on VN have a lot of really good speccing/template info. Mythic decided before launch that the community should be responsible for most of the info posting/gathering and has done little in that regard. There are a lot of great websites out there, though, that can help with information. I use a few different ones every day for various things. Some are not updated as much as I would like, but they're the best that I know of.

Yup VN.

And then you get some other boards possibly - Critshot has been archer specific for years, Drunken Friar I think is back up for cleric type classes - it really depends on the TLs to some extent (past and present).

I would start with VN however unless you are in Europe in which case check out Freddyshouse which is the forum that the GoA European GMs post on.

VN has a lot of good information if you sift thru all the flaming and garbage.
