LOTRO on and apple mac

HI folks,



I know that this is a windows only game but i intend to play this on my macbook using bootcamp and windows XP Pro. I was just wondering if anyone who has taken part in the beta has played the game like this and if they have how does it perform?



My machine specs for my mac are:



2.0 Ghz Core 2 Duo

120 Gb HDD

1 Gb of DDR2 RAM

Intel GMA950 64mb Graphics



It meets all the recommended specs easily but only the minimum graphics will this be OK? Currently it runs WoW flawlessly but wow is a few years old now.



I intend to play this on my PC aswell which will run the game without a problem but would be nice to play it on my mac laptop too, anyway if anyone can help that would be great!

There are several players on the main forums who have played this game under bootcamp with no problems

So yes, it can be done.

I think you will do just fine. You may need to lower the graphics quite abit, but it should work. Unless the game refuses to accept your Intel graphics. I know that happens in some games.

Yes it should work although like the poster above me said your graphics card is close to not cutting it. I suggest an upgrade.

Thanks for the replys! I cant upgrade the graphics card as its a built in graphics on the laptop but i dont mind playing it on low settings on the laptop ill crack it up high on the PC, just means i can play the game more often if it also works on my laptop.  Cheers
