Never heard of any Army of Darkness quotes thank god. I love the movie... But thats it. Overly quoting things sucks.

It depends on the game... I think WAR lends itself to Monty Python, Army of Darkness, and Black Adder quotes ( Maybe even some Red Dwarf ones )

WoW on the other hand made so much fun of itself, that you did not have to many people making quote macro's and such.

On the other hand, in EQ I had to sit through a ton of quote macro's.

And I am dreading the many 'battle cry" macro's that I know in my heart will be made. I am sorry but its damn near every tabletop, or DoW players at this point, wet dream , to run screaming at the top of your lungs as you run to meet the enemy:

    "FOR THE EMPEROR!!"

    "FOR SIGMAR"

"WAAAAAAGH!!" (I am positive having a Waaagh macro will be a requirement to be an Ork )

"FOR CHAOS!!" ( I am sure Chaos players will come up with some very inventive battle cries that would make a chat filter weep )

And those are just the ones I can think up off the top of my head.

So I suppose you might be upset if my Engineer has a macro that goes:

"One, two, five... I mean, three!"

    Seriously.
It's Are'el. This forum doesn't allow apostrophes in usernames.

I'm a DOW player myself and I'm not going to quote anything cause thats just stupid. Cept I do have a quote over to the left. But I mean its so true.

Hehe, I don't have a problem with macro's per say. I was joking. But I am afraid that WAR will become macro central, it does lend itself to it...

And a Witch hunter saying "Nobody expects...", is just pure evil I say...EVIL!!

Now If he wanted to torture me with a "comfy chair and cake" macro, I could live with that... or a fluffy pillow....

And Are'el, I use to like you. for 2 things. 1) You were funny,2) you were accurate (most of the time), and 3) your post made sense...errr. thats 3 things I use liked you for... until that last post

    Hehehe

Definitely leaving behind the peaceful, harmonious world of PvE in order to get me (and Khorne, of course) thousands of skulls for the Skull Throne, baby.........and if you Tzeentch kids say anything about Khorne not being in the game, I'll have to ask for the removal of your heads as well, in a nice clean manner.

I can see it now: **Tape Worm, title-Champion of Tzeentch** meets **Table Top Guy**

    Tape Worm: " I am a Khorne Beserker !!"

Table Top Guy: "Uhmm then why would Tzeentch let you in his army, unless you converted? And why is your title 'champion of Tzeentch?"

Tape Worm: "Because I like Khorne dammit !! He is my master"

Table Top Guy: "But Khorne is not even in the game? And this is the Army of Tzeench... I dont get it..."

Tape Worm: " I am a freaking Khorn Beserker. Its my game and I say I am a disciple of Khorne. So shut up"

Table Top Guy: "But your wearing Tzeentch Armor and colors and carrying a Tzeentch Banner?"

Tape Worm: "Thats because Khorne's not in the game! If He was I would wear his stuff! Why cant you understand?"

Table Top Guy: "Thats why I don't understand.. Khornes not in the game.... So how can you a Khorne Beserker"

Tape Worm: Are you retarded? Stand there please. I am going to go make a War priest so I can have the pleasure of killing you. A lot"

I am saying, being a Khorne berserker makes no sense, even if you are RP

But I most certainly expect you to have that conversation... a whole lot.

I would find how the RvR system works first. If I like it that is how I will level.

So if Tapeworm gets to be a Tzeentchian follower of Khorne, does than mean I can be a goblinoid Skaven?

And, yes, I would of course have a "comfy chair" macro.

Probably a "Cake, or Death!?" macro as well ::::02:: Slightly less well known, and overused, than the Monty Python stuff, but appropriate none the less.

But really, I just want to play a Skaven. Here's hoping the first expansion adds wood elves and skaven.

I was trying not to bring up Eddie Izzard...:

    Inquisitor: "Death or cake?"

    Victim 1: "Cake please."

    Inquisitor: "Death or Cake?"

    Victim 2: "Ummm death please"

    Inquisitor: "Really?"

Victim 2: "Ohhh make that cake, thank you very much!"

    Inquisitor: *grumble*

Quests. Wanna know what I'm fighting for!

I was just laughing, stupid. I found your comment funny. Not everyone takes themselves and their silly RP positions seriously. If I want to imagine I'm playing a Khorne warrior, I'll do so, whether you roleplaying geeks approve or not.

I guess I'm most curious about seeing how the PvP leveling mechanic works so it's off to the PvP zones first thing :)

But I'm also really intrigued by the Public Quests so I'll want to check those out too.   I'll probably bounce between the two then eventually get to exploring and crafting later.
