I think this is cool because it helps the casual gamer. I consider myself a hardcore gamer, cause i commit over 40 hours a week to a game, but i still get my 8-10 hour of sleep, so it doesnt really affect me. Plus most people who play this game, will be at school or work, and they'll be logged off during that time, so it shouldnt affect people to much.
