When do we get our blogs? (Also Community Spotlight)

I was just wondering is there a set date for user blogs to come out or is it being worked on at the moment? I really can't wait for it. I thought we could have a community spolight directly on the site. Maybe we can get more active members if there is more to show and give towards the community.
