LAS's website appears to have been taken down... Will it come back to life? Who will drive the wooden stake through LAS and Colton to stop this idiotic mid-day soap opera? ...My brain hurts.

Third company to try with this game.. surely if the game either A) Existed or Was any good, it would've been picked up by a REAL game developer, not these start up scam companies it's had to date.



Avoid this game like the plague, and keep your credit card information to yourself.

Yeah mmorpg.com responded in a couple threads explaining why it isn't listed anymore.  First Coltan began behaving like a 15 year old on this site bashing anyone and everyone that said anything against him or his game.  Second the company Red Ant Software was proven to not have a business license in Oregan and  for all intensive purposes was dissolved by the state by force.  I could continue but suffice to say if you wiki mourning or thrones of chaos you can see why mmorpg.com along with stratics and warcry all delisted the game.

Samuraisword: Not sure why you are so adamant about getting "official" info about the situation (other than just obvious curiosity).  The way you responded was as if there was no validity in thousands of posts on the subject, with links supporting factually, the situation.  Not flaming you man, but really, your response was a tad aggressive, people were tying to help, Flem being one of them.



Flem: Nice post and links, too bad doing homework for others doesn’t always pay off, in fact it sometimes is followed by attacks and whatnot.

Well the threads created and contibuted to by members are interesting, but they are not official news articles and shouldn't substitute for one.

Everytime a new game is added to this site, we see a news article, yet when Thrones of Chaos is delisted, it's all hush hush.

That's how Scam artists work.



Even years after Dawn made huge impasses in the MMORPG scam market, you see people posting the site here (other then me for reference purposes) as finding this great new MMORPG.  There will always be somebody who doesn't know the story cause they weren't there or interested when the event happened.



Realms of Tourment/Krel/Mourning/Thrones of Chaos/Era of Shadows (I might be forgetting some names) is no different.  Somebody will find that game and say "WOW!  This is phenominal!  I'm so excited!" and generate excitement in groupings of other unknowing gamers.



Look at just a year and a half ago when Settlers of Garnath (sp?) was released as the prelude to DnL.  All the little fanboi's went running and screaming, we all remember that.  But they gathered a new group of followers quickly and even managed to release their game.  Still buggy to this day, it was released though... and people actually subscribed, and are still subscribed (some unknowningly) to this day.



Just cause we remember it and scream about it on a little corner of the Internet doesn't mean the large group of majority gamers will ever find these posts.  And I mean ever.  Take my word for it, I used to work for a company where people said they would make sure nobody ever played the games we'd produce, yet there are people regularly on that title even as I write this.



All you can do is educate the people you meet and hope that they'll take your advice when it comes to these topics.  Show them the proof you can find.

Pay a crew of group of kids to make no progress on the shitty game engine for a year+

Switch the name of game from "Thrones of Chaos" to "Era of Shaows", but never sell it
