I have built numerous systems using www.tigerdirect. com and www.newegg.com.  Both are great companys and have never had a problem with quality, shipping, time.....etc.  Last week I upgraded my EVGA 939 MB with AMD Athlon running 2411mhz and a pci-e 7800 GT.  Purchased a EVGA 8800 GTS 640mb superclocked and added 2 gigs of memory bringing my total up to 3 gigs (Cheap memory....not gaming memory.)  I'm playing Lord of the Rings Online with the settings at ultra high 1024x768 and the game is gorgeous with not an inkling of lag.  Stepped it up to 1600x1200 and I get a slight lag in busy areas, that and I can hardly read the writing on my 19" monitor.

Should have elaborated on what I meant by gaming memory.I didn't actually mean the high end top brands that are derived from low yield process techniques, and also have heat spreaders on them. that memory is over $600 for 2x2gb dual channel packs.

I meant to say decent ,non overclocked, dual channel 2x2g stick packs, those are around $370.but let u add another pack later to top off your boad at 8gb dual channel w/o tossing your 4 1gb sticks out.
