Ragnarok Acolyte Experience

My friend and I just started characters on RO. He's an acolyte, and when we hunt and I kill a mob while he heals, he gets no experience unless he attacks with me. Is the exp distribution not shared to support classes in this game? If so, isn't the healing class gimped? If not, how does he get exp without attacking?

    First you have to party with your friend (I think it was Alt  +  Z)

    Then, in the party setup, set experience shared.



    Shouldn't this be in RO forums tho?

    Open the party menu, set XP to shared. You have to be in a certain level range to share xp though, I believe its 10 levels.
