Basic play is free, with a monthly 5-dollar fee for premium access to other stuff.
The game can be played free. Its kinda pointless though .You get cash and kings coins for quests that you turn in for armor , but only members can use it.
There is a two week trial circulating, it might be Fileplanet, that gives you all the perks that members have. It might be a good way to gauge whether or not membership matters to you.
