First of all Yedang Co. didnt made public any intention for a Pristontale2 english version.
Korean version wil be release after summer 2007. There ar speculations on korean forums that Pt2 will be open only to korean peopls in 2007, and till 2008 no english version. Maibe is true, maibe not, but the thing is Yedang and Triglow ar moving very very slow....
I sugest you to play 2moons (dekaron) english version till a good news about a eng.Pt2 realease.

They just startd Pt2 second cb test. U CANT PLAY. The number of testers in CB test is limited.

If you search on pt2.kr site you will find that the only pt2 version that will realise these summer is the korean version not english. Read korean forums before you start anoyng peoples.
Yedang anounced that the korean version and the english version will be released on the same date.

Closed Beta Testing:
1st closed beta phase has been concluded.
2nd closed beta and 3rd closed beta phases are tentatively scheduled for May and July 2007, respectively.
Open Beta Testing:
Late July 2007.
Commercial Release:
Late 2007.
We do not yet know during which of the above phases the game will be playable by the worldwide audience.
They dont know yet how game is goin, not even CB finishd, korean version is not even 3/4 finishd. more then that they must test the eng version also if will be 1. There is no english version yet and will not be releasd till summer 2007. They cant promise anythng yet, dont read the peopls speculations.
Yedang online is working to develope more then 6 games same time. A yedang game english version that will be realsd is the clone of Pristontale http://www.laxelore.com/ , game that is in alpha test.
You can go to a pt funsite like http://www.ptnation.com/ also and read there about any official pt2 eng news, they check pt2 korea forums evry day.

Pff, you talk about some interviews that yedang made 1 year ago. All knows those articles. They already made public 1 year ago that Pt2 CB will start in summer 2006, and they delayd with more then half year.
Last but not least, we have updated release dates. 1st Closed Beta is now scheduled for June 2006, Open Beta is scheduled for November 2006, and commercialization (p2p) is scheduled for February 2007
More then that Pt2 eng (i repeat) dont exist yet. They will not delay the korean version for ept 1.
plans to release the game simultaneously in English, Korean and Japanese - was 1 year ago, its irelevent, not valid, its NOT A NEWS, no other official news to suport that. We ar in 2007. That was planed 1 year ago, same like Beta Test, and bouth faild last year.
Thats why i didnt quote that line, because you dont know whats Yedang next step. Very posibile that OB kr to be restrictd to korean players also and after kr release.
If you wana talk about PT.2 eng here come with a valid argument, a good news like Yedang will start PT2 eng open beta these year. You cant say nothng, because no1 know yet. They failed in 2006 with all 3 versions and now they hardly work for ONLY kr version to not fail again, but you want that Yedang to release 3 version same time? without delayng kr version these summer?
Pff, go help them maibe you can do a miracle, its easter 2007, who knows.... dont give peopls false hope....
Korean Version will be first if things go like the same in PT2!
Don't hold your breath on this one... it may come in a couple of months OR 2 to 3 years.

I downloaded the French package and when instlaling I get a language select. Kinda odd theytake <French> into the filename...
Wicked Interactive LTD. has the NA license and are hosting through Subagames. pt2.subagames.com They have delayed release till 2009, no definate date set yet though.

For some reason Closed Beta allowed anyone to play... then when I got the Open Beta invite via e-mail... there was absolutely NOTHING stating EUROPEAN ONLY... they didn't show that until 2 days or more after I wasted a download on PT2 Open Beta.
Obviously I was less than pleased.

Closed Beta showed that PT2:
1. has major city lag issues.
2. needs a lot of finalization of code.
3. not ready for prime time.
Open Beta showed that NON-European players were shut out EVEN if they played in the Closed Beta. This was not shown until at least 2 days after I wasted my time downloading it.
The NON-European servers are not yet ready.
Bottom line, I think that I'll go play something else.
I was underwhelmed on PT2 online. Oh it looks nice, but needs major help.
Priston Tale 1 currently has better game play than Priston Tale 2. Oh well...

I guess SubaGames don't want to get burned like KTP for a crap game when it comes to security...
The security of PT2 as it is now is like nonexistent that's why there are more bot's and gold-sellers as there are normal players...
And yes, i also was shut-out of OB after having done CB while i was playing in a country outside KTP's notion of Europe...
Them sending invites to ppl they will block without any notice of that fact, is just a proof of how ignorant they are concerning customer-service. (eg. they don't give a shits-ass)

As far as i know only the US, Canada, China, Korea and Taiwan cannot play on the European servers.
Anyone else can login, since the IP block is only because of licence issues with the regions.
I have a friend whos participating in the closed beta of the new expansion and according to him the game got a lot better with the new expansion.
I will take another look at it as soon as they release it. ^^
