in Lord of the Rings Online
Hi,

Any idea what kind of generic stats Enchanted Cloak of Regeneration and Ring of Agility has? I am from Europe and I am trying to register for US beta and servers. Are those two items worth the trouble of registering with help from some US friend?

    Unfortunately if you live outside of the US you will not be able to play a us copy of the game.  They will be checking your IP address and not letting anyone from outside the designated geographic areas onto other servers :(



    It sucks, I know :(  Blame the publishers.

    ty for answer. still, i am 1337, i will do a VPN in USA. are those two items worth the trouble?

    Better make sure you has a US billing address too. IPs and billing address are two things they are supposed to be checking.

    As for the items, no idea of their exact stats but I surmise they will be out-grown by level 20-25.

    I pre-ordered but I made a second instance on my account so i don;t have the items yet like some folks.

    So, this is all second hand talk from me :)

    I've heard from very reliable sources that the 2 pre-order itmes are not worth the trouble you mention.

    Nice as free gifts, but not worth jumping through hoops for.

    Although I have heard that the cloak looks nice :)

    I can not confirm anything personally though...

    The cloak has a unique design depending on where you pre-order the game from. There are three different designs in total I believe. They look really nice compared to anything else that is in game though.



    The stats for the items were not very good. I don't remember the exact stats off hand, but you would be able to replace such items early in your career. I think you may get some use out of them for the first 10 levels or so at least.

    it is not worth then; I will just wait inline until it cames here. :)

    as a side note, for whoever wants to play from EU, just find a friend in US and ask him to register the game for you and note Turbine that he will play from overseas.

    Eh.. the discounted monthly fee is worth the preordering, IMHO..  preorder items are generally lame anyway =P
