Anyone who has thoughts about this game

Strange that someone would make an MMO about pirates, by strange I mean FINALLY The game play might be a bit hard though, I mean organizing attacks and stuff must be pretty hard. If my strange strange strange strange mind is correct then it will be like. "Captain likes2swim there is an invasion off the port(left) bow." then the Captain says "Attack with Basic Cannonball then Grape Shot and mybe Flaming Ball." I bet it will be pretty decent despite minor flaws. I am almost sure it will attract the attention of the great, the mighty, the f**cking  awesome, Rooter Teeth. That would be awesome right?!?!?!? All hail Rooster Teeth  Thats all I can write and I can't write no more.

PS: I love the poll system on this thing so I'm going to ask something with no real meaning.

Thats the point with the making a good MMO.  If it was easy to make new features and things....we wouldent have all those shitty MMO there is nowdays

I think the coolest part of the game is the language barrier. None of the nations will understand eachother unless we spend points on a certain language to learn it.

my thoughts on this game are.



1.Wow it is about time, a game with out wizzards or weird looking aliens.



2. Graphics are better then a 900 dollar an hour hooker. the sky and sea look so pretty.



3. I WANT THIS GAME!!!!!!

It isnt just pirates though. Naval combat with France/Spain/England, fighting over ports. 25v25 battles, sounds awesome. The land combat looks fun and different aswell. I cant wait to start of my privateer/pirate career,  attacking merchantmen.

Would be so good to go out with your guild, on patrols, as a pirate could run into a trading guild convoy of east indiamen hauling cargo, with escorts from..dont know, the national navy they are part of. Would be brilliant fun, realy would get the sense of roleplay.

The player driven economy could realy give a sense of having a place in the world, unlike WoW for example where you cant realy have any influence on changing the gameworld (well you can but not nearly as much as this).

I honestly cannot wait for this to come out, cant wait to try to get a guild as a pirate and try to take on a big 104 gun ship of the line

I am q interested in the future potential aswell, like land combat for ports after the naval part.

This is going to be such an amazing game.  When I first saw it, I though ah Sea Dogs in MMO form, and moved on to waiting for STO to come out and getting bored with WoW and going back to CoH/CoV.  Then I found out the direction they are going in STO and was not impressed.  So I came back to PotBS and looked deeper into what the game would be like and I am VERY VERY impressed and now this is the premier game that i am waiting for.
