There's nothing funnier as watching two kids fighting for their honor (or smth like that) in the Internet
At least I know I'm gaining internet honor from this!
Actually, Kaiaphas is bored on the gryphon. I am currently trying to scam some people by hiring a gold leveller from china to custom make account for them that are cheaper than I am charging them lol. It's sorta working out. I have 3 going and am cajoling the leveller to work for cheaper, he types super slow though - must be using some english translation software.

I fully support new game makers of all types and give them a thumbs up for their boldness in making a game about a title like WoW. I probably won't be playing it since browser based games aren't my thing. I wonder how they got past the copyright stuff?
I came across this by coincidence, and found it really cool that someone mentioned one of my sites.. So I might as well answer this question.
Its been discussed all over the net already, even found a large post in a gaming site about us, this is what it said:
No, "World of Warcraft Island" is not made by Blizzard -- just in case you were confused. What it seems to be is a web game with turn based combat using World of World of Warcraft graphics, races, classes (sort of), skills, monsters, etc. I'm not sure how or why anyone would have thought this to be a good idea, especially considering that it must have taken some time to throw all of this together. While you can currently create an account and play for free (the game is supposedly in beta status), you do so at your own risk -- who knows what they're doing with the e-mail addresses they collect or whether the game may actually be harmful in some way.[Via Metroblogging Azeroth]...
Anyways, I only recently purchased the whole site, and apparenlty the old owner had spoken to blizzard about it - and as long as its just a 'fan' site its fine.
Either way, we're changing it soon. I can smell a lawsuit coming. Then again, those articles were posted last november, and nothing came yet.

I think when I made mention of 2 mil gold farmers, someone took that as carved-in-stone truth. What I was trying to convey that if somehow it came out that there were 2 mil gold farmers, it wouldn't surprise me at all.
Plus, I don't think all chinese subscribers are farmers. I do think that the highest percentage of farmers comes from the asian markets however. Many of them are overseas to avoid any U.S. legal issues that could occur I'm sure.
With the vast amount of "buy WoW stuff" companies out there, you know there has to be a huge amount of people not playing WoW but farming WoW.
All numbers. None of it is written in stone and everyone looks at them in different ways. For example we do not know how many people are just chinese gold farmers. A 7.4 may be a good score for a game for you, but for another that is horrible. Some people think that WoW deserves a 9.75 score for TBC but the game is not perfect. There is more wrong than just 2.25%. However numbers and opinions are subjective and you have to learn to ignore them.

Awww.. are you going to destroy the game?
I have no intentions whatsoever of destroying the game.
Quite the opposite, we have someone working ont he site with us coding for it and enhancing it all the time.
Merely the WoW names, images, etc will be removed, and the game will be renamed
THough I've got to hurry up - the game is getting too popular too fast.. Already have several thousand sign ups in just a few days!
Awww! I was so impressed by how true to WoW the game is!
Of course, get more people while WoW lasts, then switch the game in order to utilize the players drawn in by wow :P
The game is becoming very, very popular fast, too.
So early next week the game will be put on its own dedicated server, and premium accounts & subscriptions will be brought in place.
We'll see what happens then
