Questions about preordering in the UK

in Lord of the Rings Online
I pre-ordered this game from GAME (the store)

and alot of people are talking about getting a bonus pre order disk.But i never got one.

Is this because i didnt pre order online?, Also will i still get my 2 pre order items because i

pre-ordered it in a store.

    You need to get the pre-order box from the store that you placed the pre-order. Call them up to see if they have any available. In the box they will have the Founder's Key. I'm not sure about the UK pre-order box, but the US one also had the High Res client for beta.

    I don't think you get your pre-order disks yet. You get it in time to play on the 14th April, ten days before the 'official release'

    You can also get the online preorder, wich is basically an open beta key and a founder pass. You can only do it Europe in codemasters's own online shop. It costs 5 pounds and you won't get anything physical, only the keys.

    I preordered the CE from a uk netshop last week . They sent the preorder box today.

    I also preordered from GAME. Today I wrote them and asked if they send a preorder box. When they answer me I will post here again.

    Here in the US, Amazon.com is doing the LotRO pre-order.

    For this vendor, there are NO pre-order boxes sent out, like the ones you buy at the local shops.

    There is a place on the customer account pages where the pre-order keys are posted.

    Note that it is not the CD or the Box that gives the pre-order benefit, but the pre-order Key.

    The only thing you get with the pre-order box that is of any value is the Hi-Rez game client.

    right so say when real LOTRO Comes outa beta?, if i dont have this hi-rez disk will i be forced to play in low-rez?

    So far, the Hi-Rez Client has NOT been provided as part of the Beta Downloads.

    Not to say it won't when the Open Beta starts, but I would doubt it.

    It certainly will be provided on the release DVD.

    I don't have the Hi-Rez client and don't really miss it much, although I would like to see how it all looks in greater detail.  But, its not like the graphics are junk in the standard client.  And the performance is very good.  Think WoW with more realistic textures and colors, but the same poly-count.  That is the standard client.
