Need a new game, suggest me one!

I've played WoW since day one and I can officially say im done. I want a new game, help me out!

What im looking for:

1) Ability to get in on ground floor or atleast have players to spend time with at low/mid levels. I absolutely hate ghosttowns.

2) Role-Play please!

3) PvP system of some kind, even if its instanced or FFA. No PvP = Makes baby jesus cry.

Thanks!

I just want to say gratz on completing WoW.

Personally I find the MMO market dull atm. There are a lot of interesting titles comming up, but nothing new out rght now.

LOTRO sound ya best bet, its released in a few weeks, so you'll start the same time as others, its polished, good RP and a unique PvP approch. Its goona be big too, already good vibes about it around the web and from players on here.

Go outside and play. It's easy to find other players; there are six billion of them. There is open PvP, corpses are fully lootable, and there are real consequences. And the roleplaying is excellent - with a few exceptions, you'll actually believe every character is a real person in a real world. It's great!

The market is kinda poor for PvP  (other than WoW)

My suggestions:  try LoTRO,  DAoC,  or City of Heroes

Seems like LOTRO seems a popular choice, any reason why?

Because it is new, it is WoW-like in some ways and it is based on LOTR.

If you like playing casters, however, beware of LOTRO, because the game, following on the lore of LOTR, doesn't feature much magic -- certainly nothing like a typical fantasy MMO.

I would recommend taking a break, for reasons previously stated.  First, it's never a bad idea to find out what you can do with your free time when you're not playing video games.  Second, there are several promising games coming out later this year, and you will be able to "get in on the ground floor."

If you haven't played CoH or EQ2, both have the things you are looking for, in varying degrees.  (You did not stipulate a fantasy setting.)

However, I would warn against playing EQ2 in the original starting areas.  You have to play in Faydwer if you want decent quests.

congrats for hitting w0w and choosing it..but why do you wanted to shift to another MMO?just go and play it w0w is awesome though..but if you just have to find a MMO that can be compared to w0w..why dont you try EQ2, FFXI?

    Lord of the Rings Online

    1.  Going to release in a month or so.  Open beta starts soon and you can carry a Level 10 character over from Open Beta to Release if you like.   $9.99 mo pricing if you get the pre-order package (which allows you into Open Beta in 5 days).

    2.  Of *all* the games currently out there, I have some hopes that RP in LotRO will surpass.

    3.  MonsterPlay PvP starts at Level 10 for Monster Players where you get a level 50 monster to roll out with against the level 50 Free Peoples.

All in all, not a bad way to pass the time if you are waiting for WaR.
