WoW: worst, MMO, ever.

I hate World of Warcraft with a burning passion, any mention of it makes me sick to the stomach.
This game is an affront to all the good MMORPGs out there. It is a cancer of the genre that literally forces other game developers to adopt it's hideous mentality of dumbing down everything. It has poisoned the games I used to enjoy... you know; the ones that required skill. Remember hell levels in Everquest one? Remember the early days of AO? Remember the deep complex gameplay of DAOC? Only real geniune MMO players do. Playing those games those took real skill. Nowadays those horizontal experience bars move from left to right faster than you can say "SUCK".
Super Mario Brothers requires more skill than this disgusting pile of malware. No, in fact this game requires ZERO skill. Some level 70 players haven't even learned to read yet. They made it this way so that you didn't need a good PC like real MMO players have. They catered to the crowd of simpletons, you know; the masses; the common folk; the peasants ....The dregs of society, the scum, the kids, the l33ts... Us real MMO players prefer something we like to call challenge.
Playing this game is a molestation of my personal boundaries. I feel violated every time Blizzard forces me to play this junk. Yes I am forced to play this game, because all my friends have been brainwashed by Blizzard and the only way to contact them is logging into Disneyland.
This game is played by the kind of person that downloads 1,000 free smileys to send to their simpleton friends over spyware-ridden instant messenging software. I wouldn't even wish this game on my worst enemies, because my worst enemies are the millions of cronies that play this piece of garbage. These are the kinds of people who post themselves imitating Britney Spears (who probably plays this game) to Youtube, and give 5 stars equally awful videos.
They should force people in prison to play this game, in fact, they probably already have - which explains why this game has the WORST COMMUNITY EVER. This probably has something to do with the fact that 95% of players are actually gold farmers from some inferior foreign country (fact). Actually this would make a good idea for a re-write of Prison Break - bunch of guys break out of prison because they no longer want to play WoW anymore.
And speaking of lame TV shows; that only morons watch (I only watch the news because it's challenging) an entire Season of 24 could be done in one episode if Jack Bauer threatened all the terrorists and corrupt government officials with WoW game-time cards (which suck, because it means idiots and kids can play the game - not sensible and responsible people like me who have several credit cards).
This game is an affront to every well made competitive game out there. They claim to have 'PvP', when in reality there is no PvP. PvP takes NO SKILL whatsoever. I just go AFK in a battleground and my opponents die at my feet. There are no rewards at all, it's just a complete grind of factions. I spent 1000s of hours grinding to get the good stuff, and I hated every single minute of it. Anyone who claims this game has PvP has obviously never played PvP in another MMO (100% pure fact).
The world is tiny, there is absolutely no content at all. I blinked and I missed half the game. And now Blizzard have the audacity to release an expansion so that my YEARS of hard work in the game has become USELESS because the new expansion has better gear that even my grandad could get, and he's dead.
The reason I am posting this is because I have a rich and fulfilling life. I have a good education and I associate myself with the cream of society. I am trying to impose my superior opinions onto the ignorant masses that play this game and you had better believe I am right. For the tiny percentage of WoW players that don't suffer from an attention deficit disorder and actually read this far; there is hope... one day you might play a real MMO and be saved from this plague of filth that clogs the tubes of the internet.
I would deliver more insight onto you but I've got to get to Outland, late for my guild's raid. It's going to suck I just know it.

You are right, only the people that remember the hell levels in EQ1 are true gamers!
How about when you reached level 20, a GM in EQ would personally congradulate you and let you choose a surname; how many remember that?
WoW has done nothing but ruin the MMO community, this genre of crappy MMO's is almost at an end, with the final crap game of Vanguard finally released, we may start to see some new, unique, skill-based MMO's coming. Of course, I think WAR will be just as bad, if not worse than WoW, simply because it looks like it uses the standard cloned UI and generic combat systems.
I really hope Age of Conan will be everything its supposed to be and more, this game has the potential to change all future MMO's.
WoW kiddies, and third world refugees are not my idea of a steller time.

In all honesty, raiding was never a challenge for me in WoW. Its 50/50 cooperation / items.

Hell-Levels = Time sink (nothing more) and in no way make you a better gamer than any 1 else.
To the OP, stop playing if you hate it so much, and go play DAoC or EQ1 if they are so much better.

In all honesty, raiding was never a challenge for me in WoW. Its 50/50 cooperation / items.
The problem with raiding in WoW is not the mechanics of the raiding or difficulty its the fact that 99% of guild will just pull up the latest Naxx,BWL guide off the net and just follow what they say, the guides tell you where to stand, what classes to have, boss attacks/abilities and its done for you.That is why WoW raids often seem easy or less challenging because you know b4 you see the boss what he does and how to kill him/her/it, you've read guides and watched videos, the fun is taken out of the whole experince... although still a rush when you down a new boss.
For me WoW raids are the best of any MMO but WoW players cheat themselves by using guides... The Black temple 25man instance is out soon and on the day of its release my guild MOTD will have links to a guide on all the bosses that we're asked to read b4 the raid... which I why I dont like that blizz have open betas to the new content.
After viewing the rant from the original OP, I feel sorry for someone that is so hung up on a game. You wonder how badly they'll come unstrung if something bad ever happens to them.
Get outside for a change, dude. It'll do you some good.
