They are all larger than 8kb. If size is a problem try switching from jpeg to gif, or decreasing the size using a generic photo editing program.
Obiyer is correct. Change the filetype to either JPEG of GIF.

Okay, I got my avatar but every time I select it then goto the forums and test it, it doesnt work
Can someone help me out?
Does the avatar fit the requires? Did you also select it inside your User Profile Settings and clicked Save Changes? Selecting it inside the Avatar Settings does not do anything.
