ok i got the trail now and want to buy the game.

What expansions do i buy and how?

Do i play on eu servers or us? i live in eu.

I am abit confused hehe.

    download the catacombs first, it's free and is usable in trial too. then buy Darkness Rising and LotM. Or you can buy the 5th anniversary edition

    Which trial were you, EU or US? EU-version isn't playable in U.S servers and vice versa.

    ive bought it from the european site.

     

    And now when i download that small installer from the email link, then nothing happens when i click "Dark Age of Camelot - Catacombs" nothing happens :(

    i bought all licens and got the cdkeys now.

    Okay now i downloaded the Dark Age of Camelot - Darkness Rising launch thingy.

     

    and i am updating 3 gigs, so wount be playing today..

     

    am i doing the wrong stuff?

    Well today is a major patch day. Welcome to DAOC but unfortunately, you picked a bad day to start...all of Mythic's d/l servers are hosed right now with people downloading the patch.

    ok i got both darkness rising and catacombs? what exp are people playing?

     

    the servers i can see in darkness rising dont have many people playing :(

    Buy the 5th anniversary edition.

    It has all the content and minimizes the download times.

    For the least money.

    If you go any other way, you will regret it.

    Bah, there are always schisms between European and American servers. Neither one is better, just different approaches. And different times of peak activity.



    I think better advice is dont start playing in Albion right now, most severs greatly favor Midgard or Hibernia, in that order. You will be RvRing in the battlegrounds only for awhile (unless you are a some healing type) and playing as Albion in those is like banging your head against a large dull spike. 50 RvR of course is different, thankfully.
