since my pathetic computer maxes out at 2 gigs of ram...would it be enought to play this i wonder? and the 512mb vid card is no problem...i might try to get one of those 700+mb vid cards...but the system can only hold onto 2 gigs of ram...so will it be enough?

You may not be able to play at the highest settings but you can play it for sure.
Do you own the Elder Scrolls:Oblivion game?
It seems games nowdays are getting to be "Minimum requirements- 1gb of ram" as opposed to the old 512mb. So 2gb is probably perfectly if not better than your average. As for the 512 card? Even better. You probably won't need to get your hands on one of those 700mb 8800 cards from Nvidia.
This is an MMO so expect requirements to be lower than say.. Crysis.

My personal experiences of buying on ebay say to be vey, very careful at the least. $93 for 2 gigs of RAM doesn't say much, except that there may be something wrong. For all you know, that 2 gigs could be made up of 8 sticks of 256mb. Make sure you get all the info on the product is my advice. That said, you can find good deals at places like newegg for RAM. Most of their products come with tech support, return policies, and other things that you most likely won't get from ebay.

Sapphire ATI Radeon X1650 PRO, PCI-Express 16X, 512mb Video Card, which uses DDR2 memory...and then theres a 250mb vid card with DDR3 memory..which would be better?
DDR 3 memory is newer than DDR 2
and like cars you never know if a new card will be a goodonetilsome1st adopters buy it and use it
Serious, if you're getting a video card to play this game don't get the card till the day before the game ships. It's probably the single most important component to affect AoC performance and you want the absolute best you can afford. The longer you wait the lower the price, generally. And if this game needs or even wants more than two Gigs of RAM, Funcom can kiss my ass, there are limits.
