I've been told that there are *thousands* of players on per server, not hundreds, and that the game is now every bit as populated as when it first started.
Take a look at the Ofiical forums - do you see negative posts? Nope.

The NGE saved SWG and with it's skyrocketing popularity, it's will be number 2 in population again, just below WoW. And when WoW starts it's eventual loss of players, SWG is well positioned to be the number 1 MMORPG again.

No worries guys I got this one.  Apparently after careerbuilder.com fired all the chimps from there commercials SOE immediately hired them up.

SWGLover your chart is upside down.

Glad I could clear that up.

    Move along, move along.

I counted around 150 people total. Take into account the people that are in space and spread out on other planets and one could assume adding in another 100 peeps or so. This is what is considered heavy now in SWG. I remember very well during pre-cu, Dant alone had over 300 people during peak hrs.
The game is more broken now than it's ever been. The code is so screwed up, the devs cann't even bring back the origional animations, because the system won't handle it. SWG is a joke now, and will not be returning.
Thats a mass influx for the post NGE era..

I've played it for the last 2 weeks now off and on.. I took my ALT from 80-90.. And no there isn't 1000's on per server.. Prime time naritus had maybe 100 people between restuss, eisely, and DWB.. and how many were in space probably 10 people... I've seen one person in space before.. I know its huge but I've hypered all around to various places and seen 1 person camping a Black sun spawn near endor .. and that was it.

Whats sad about the game is how my al 90 commando kills an elder jedi in about 25 seconds, and I never heal once... That was without any GCW or entertainer buffs aswell.. Just a plain old duel...

Yeah, my brother made the mistake of renewing for a month and we observed the fallout.

You've been told? I'm starting to wonder whether you actually play the game now.

The idiocy of this statement alone convinces me that you are merely a troll, but I'm gonna go on anyway 'cause I feel like blowing off steam.

SWG never was number one, nor will it ever be. That being said, its also going to take years upon years upon years upon years for WoW to shed enough players for SWG to even compete with it. Either you are the worst troll I've seen. period. or you're the worst piece of flaimbait I've seen since John Smedly posted on the SWG forums...then again there's always a possibility you are in some relation to a former Nazi propagandist.
