Have you seen or have had to walk around Middle-Earth in ridiculous looking colour schemes of bright red and green? The game is capable of SUCH beauty especially the vista's when you can reach high ground... but at low level's you're really forced to war some 'fashion disaster outfits'. I can't be the only one who's put on early level armour and thought 'ugh...I look like a ....'
On the other hand, once you get higher levels the heavy armour especially starts looking really awesome. But where does that leave the light/medium armoured players?
This is just my opinion, but I think the game could definitely benefit from some darker more natural colours and much more inspired designs for the leather outfits worn. I've always thought if I made an MMO and a character started even in the most basic sets of armour, EVERY piece of armour should be stylistic and look good, making the player feel 'cool' about donning their current outfit, whatever it is. Either way the fact that heavy armour is what looks great in LotrR:O really pulls me towards playing classes that support it because I just don't want to look 'vibrant'.

There are player made dyes in the game. I imagine they'll be among the biggest sellers of all the crafted items, especially the tan/brown ones to tone things down.
Isn't that the reason why there's dye in the game?
