The graphics are simply amazing

I wasn't in the closed beta so today is my first experience in LOTRO and I'm stunned--the graphics are amazing. If I was any other mmorpg company I would take a serious look at this game just from an artistic standpoint.

    I LOVE the vista's - but most of all when I'm running around and I see the far off rolling hills and woods, I love knowing that I can see it... and I can go there if I wish... and I often do because I love to explore.

    Do you have the Hi Res graphics from the DvD pre-order disc?  If not, what you see now only gets better with the Hi Res Client .

    I was thoroughly impressed when I first started playing as well..I have a fairly low end machine and was able to enjoy the graphics of the game without any considerable lag...sometimes I found myself just staring out into the distance because it was so nice to look at.

    The fighting sounds were also a pluss for me...the clang of my sword on an orc's chest plate never felt so satisfying.

    Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

    I do have to agree that graphics are very well done in this game.  My first impression was that the developers really did a nice job of putting such high, yet intricate level of details in their game world.
