Anarchy is like a futuristic Everquest, and should be treated with respect.
I for one do love this game.. not my favorite though, but I like it because the Medieval MMORPGs are starting to get boring while Anarchy Online takes place in the future.
Do you realise ao was one of the first mmo's to have instance content in the form of missions.i for one have played ao since launch and boy has ao given alot to the world of mmorpg's :

Self made missions, As a solo player this is paradise even though i agree it could be work better and more variety , beside name me a game that has this? please dont name swg .
instance zones , ao started this too believe it not .
For god sake give ao some slack i think given their bad launch they now deserve our respect as a good game and funcom as a respectful company.

I have to agree for AOs time it "was" a great game and still is a "decent" game In my opnion. Its very hard to get into because I get quite bored so easily. Yes they gameplay is pretty god but the graphics really need an update, if they were id come back.
Yes flame me for saying they need better raphics, I dont care. "Its about gameplay!" is the statment Im waiting for...
I did play it some odd years ago when th Grahics were considered up todate and I loved it.
It's true about about the graphics they are very dated , normal for a game that been running 7 years , but the gameplay is very strong imo , implants and tweaking is the strongpoints of the game , there no limit almost what you can do if you work for it planning is key.
but overall my best time in a mmo was in ao community best bunch i have ever meet , their even some organisations that been going strong for years and even now they are still alive.
Even though ao show it age in a world of 3rd gen mmo's , ao will always have a place as my favorite mmo , not because of graphics , not because of loot , not because uber gear , not because of raidings big bosses . . .
well because as a whole ao has given more than any other online game out there, and i have been playing mmo's since 1999 .

In my opinion, this was and still is one of the greatest mmorpgs to ever be created. It is just way past its prime.
