I have put yes for the sole reason that i am going to keep my eye open for any improvements, I'll also still play on and off in anticipation for SWGEmu, which is the reason I'm playing VG anymore. Well, that and i spent 100$ on the collector's edition (yes you may laugh at me, i deserve it). i would not be playing Vg now, however, if i did not have SWGEmu to fall back on, because if VG did in fact collapse to oblivion, Ultyma and Ramses can be my master medic/4004 doctor.
No, but i am keeping an close eye on it, and i'm thinking of going back to it again soon (soon as in a couple of months), 'cause i really enjoyed it when i played it. But atm my life is too much of a mess for me to have time to play it.
I have it but stopped playing after my first month, not that I don't like it, but I don't have the time.
Besides, I'm hooked on various "ordinary" (non - mmo's) right now, since I think there's no mmo out there which is better or more worth the time than a good single player game... (omg! blasphemy!! BAN HIM FROM MMORPG.COM!!!)
I'm playing Vanguard and enjoying myself greatly. The biggest issue I have to deal with is deciding what I want to do next as their are at least a couple dozen things on my to-do list already.
yes , I play and I like the game . Now its not what was billed as the next gen but its fun and untill something better comes out and bye that I mean a non WoW clone . I have a fealing AoC or Potbs is were ill end up but untill then im giveing VG a chance to improve
I bought the game on the computer, as a direct download. Took a long while to download this game. I played it through the first month, and re-subbed. About halfway through my second month I cancelled my sub. So sure was I that I would never return to this mess of a game, I deleted it from my hard-drive.
I chalk my experience in Vanguard as a learning experience, which somewhat compensates for the absolute waste of time this game was.

However, it is possible I will return to the game any time between six months to one and a half years if the game is significantly fixed, improved and enhanced.
Vanguard has promised a lot, so I think it is natural for people to see if SIGIL delivers on them.
No, I'm not playing the game. I DID play it twice, though-- once in beta, and again on a 10-day free trial when I upgraded my computer.
The game DOES have the potential for greatness, but potential wasn't enough for me. The performance issues, soulless world (at least by my standards) and overall feeling that something was lacking made me quit by the end of the trial. I'm still keeping an eye on the game, just to see how things develop over the next year, especially in the aftermath of the launches of other games, like LOTR, WAR and Conan.
And I still post here because VG is an interesting case study in the ambition of the devs being outweighed by their ability to manage their time and resources properly, which I think is a shame, but also a good cautionary tale for others to follow.
I bought the game. It was mediocre. Added nothing new to mmo's in general.
I was sorely dissapointed within a week of playing. I struggled on until my gamecard ran out.
I don't see the point in paying for a sinking ship, this game won't be improved because it has no future imo. The not to distant games in the future will absolutely destroy VG.
If your playing it for fun, until the next mmo's come. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere or go outside for awhile and enjoy some light until the next big mmo does come and blow you away.
I didn't even mention poor performance and graphics, which are the last reason I quit, certainly not the first.

Nah, I simply don't have the time to dedicate to a game in this state. I will keep an eye on it though to see how it improves in the futures. I read an article about some interesting things to come, but this game has been there before - all talk. But who knows.
im in the same boat as gannon and alryth. i feel the game has potential but I am not willing to pay for them to fix them. I will give it 4-6 months and come back. I never paid past my first month. If things improve Ill come back cause the game to some degree is fun, and certainly has potential if they clean it up, add more content, balance things a bit. otherwise I may just move on to other games.

i still play it, enjoy it? well getting to the point where its like every other games out there...i enjoyed it for a while and now im starting to slow down...i feel like its a real shame that most or all the starter towns are empty now days....most are crafters and alts people make...not many or any REAL new player in the game, and that means buisness as a crafter is extremely slow now...and leveling up adventuring is just not so fun...(whats the point really? i've got 5 characters lvl 20+ and 2 lvl 40+) hell i watch the first WoW cinematic video and it makes me wanna go back and play it...
Played it before over a buddy key, waiting until they restock at ebay and such before I give it another go, last time it wasn't quite worth the $50.. mainly the adventuring that sucked. I can see myself playing it if they patch it enough.
Played it for a month and a half and then unsubscribed. The games in beta state and will be for some time. Every patch they make they break something as well.
I played in beta and then for the first month and quite enjoyed myself, however, the game runs soooo poorly that I couldn't justify the money per month so cancelled my account. Unless they improve the performance, and graphics, I won't be going back. There are too many games with potential that run well to bother battling with this game.

I hop on and LFG with my 29 DK for a bit and when I get one I have a great time, if I can't I log off and play PS or SWG /shrug.
It's a good game and the combat/group play is enjoyable but I'm definatly waiting for AoC for the action aspect.
I gave it a try..wasn't for me.... playing LotRO instead....

Also, had to upgrade my Video Card, which needed to happen anyway.
Besides from those few that reads your thread?
And you are proving that most of people posting here dont play/like the game.
Why would anyone that enjoys Vanguard read these forum, post and then get called vanboi?

testet beta, and played first month. was quite ok. dont have the time right now.
The most hardcore gamers I know, have chosen this one as their new home. Its huge, and it will only get better I presume. Not polished though.
Decent game, but bad art direction, bugs, performance issues, lacking pvp and poor game design made me give up the game.
Played 10 days with a buddy key . Got bored after 2, stopped playing after 9 , went back to EQ2 and Lotr Beta after 10
Now it feels much better again, I am cured from the Vanguard disease
