Can't really see anything wrong with this. If the game is so important to you I would surely think you would secure the assets. Plus its just a game. If you cant get over losing virtual items then you should take it easy on games for a while.

Wow you really are something at least i payed my dept back so i dont feel bad anymore.

A little hint unless you joined the corp as a spy from a rival corp with the express purpose of sabotaging that corp, you should fell a little guilty at least.

This is what eve is all about people. Its the freedom to do whatever you want.

What to be a pirate? sure! Super corp running the trade routes?! sure!

I think most of you are taking this way out of proportion. Its a game; and hes having fun with the limitless posabilities of a game universe.

    Eve is a sandbox.

Minning and killing npc's get old

You just take your little critter, and let him loose!

It never ceases to amaze me how assholes find ways to pardon other assholes.

I feel good about how much i just made. The Corp was wastefull anyways and they are in a all out War. this should cripple them, while i join the other side.  Its not liked i logged on after 3 months and just took it. I lost contact with them, didnt really know them that much anymore, and my buddy was in the alliance they are at war with so i made a decision. Join my friend while crippling his enemy as much as i can from the inside. So a thief i would say i am not. It was more of a strategic move.

More like your corp couldn't win on straight terms so they needed a mole. Or else, perhaps, they will now be pissed at you for ruining their in game content (the war). Either way you are still an ass, and that is one reason I won't touch this game with a macbook attached to a stick.

never stole from a corp.  We did have a shit ton of mods laying around in a secure hangar though and I sorted that stuff out into the low slots/med slots/high slots hangars without regard for the rare stuff (which was just like arabalest siege launchers and such at the time, no domination in game yet).  The other directors didn't really like that.

if I were to kill a titan tomorrow and no CCP employees showed up to say grats I would petition it.
Waiting for: the next MMO that lets me make this macro
    if hp < 30 then CastSpell("heal") SpellTargetUnit("player") else CastSpell("smite") end

You are so cool and 1337! U r teh 3bil! Did you stop to think that you are having fun at the expense of other REAL PEOPLE who have worked for months for those things? Your statement lends me to believe you care nothing for other people. Besides that you also care nothing for yourself by coming to a public forum and touting your thievery for the world to see. All you have done is show other people your actual intelligence level and age.

Par for the course in the Eve community. You're surprised?

Bans a perma, but so are sigs in necro posts.

Did everyone miss the questionable statements in this guy's posts???  He had to ask someone where the corporations other offices are??  Even a brand new member of a corporation can open the corporation interface, click on Offices and see every office the corporation has.  Secondly, in another post of his here, he said he stole 'BPOs' the corporation had spent a year 'building'??  You create BPCs from BPOs.

I am wondering if this whole post is nothing but a spoof!  I am a director in my corp and I totally disagree with corp thieves but as someone pointed out, the game mechanics make it hard to stop.  You have to be real careful about what you leave laying around and when someone leaves the game for that long, if it happened in our corp, his access would be cut back substantially until he returned and reestablished our trust in him. CCP has also said that we players make the rules so if enough of us petition CCP to make changes, we just might get something done.  Stop giving this dweeb all this attention over nothing!

Wow thread necro... just noticed it.

And no this isn't the norm at all.  As someone else pointed out whenever this happens the player in question is inevitably found out and black-listed.  No corp or alliance will ever accept them again.  Actions in EVE have consequences.  Yes, this can, and does happen.  But it is far from the 'norm' as some would have you think.

this is the norm in Eve online, the crooks are everywhere and the decent people are few and far between.  After all, CCP is corrupt and cheats, you'd expect anyone playing Eve Online to also cheat and steal.  I'm sure CCP is a role model for this type of anti-social behavior....
Not feeling bad at all makes me think you might be a socialpath

Yeah, that is a big part of the reason why I quit EVE a long time ago. Just can't trust anyone, got tired of being ripped off. And I did not know any devs to get special privileges, so....

Wow how the drama unfolds. It seems i have aquired there bpo's they have spent the last year making. And they all told me they would quit the game if i didnt give them back. So how much should i ask for in return of the BPo's.

It is because of people like you that I will never support any game that has any thing even close to pvp.

but I am sure you have lots of l33t company.
