I have not played the older version of this game but have recently benn playing a trial version. It seems to be an pk game for the most part other than the lack of players. All of the servers seem to be vacant and of what I can tell it is hard to get items as most that are there are AFK entertainers. I take it that this game is about to die?

    Games run around as zombies,  unaware that they are dead, for years after they die.  SWG is a zombie.  It died over a year ago, and just hasn't realized it yet. For instance, the game 'Dark and Light' wasn't even a game, and was certainly not worth a single person's time, yet it still had people playing it, and some people active on their forums.  I wonder if that game is still zombified, or finally laid to rest...

     

    Seriously though, people are still playing Quake 2.  Some games take a really really long time to completely die, even if they are already dead.

    Its rotten, stinks and have no soul, so yes its dead. It died 2 years ago.

    It does not sem that bad of what I have seen it just that there does not seem to be enough people on and with only allowing 2 characters per server it seems a bit rough to get some goals accomplished.

    I uninstalled SWG a few weeks ago after many years of playing. But there was no short on players. Even many od my Pre-CU friends returned ans many forums got active.

     

    When all fled awat that week a year ago (NGE) i tryed to endure, untill now

    I dont think SWG is that dead..yet.  I wish it was....

    My whole guild left when the CU came out, it was a sad site to see, people taking down a town around you could almost make you cry.
