You know, I've been playing for almost 2 years now and I have never had the lag problems that so many people say they have. I played at first on a computer with 512 mb RAM and a Radeon 9550 video card, obviously not the optimal setup for CoX. I just turned down my graphis settings and had very few problems.
I get routinely ping ponged back after ive moved for a few seconds.Not sure how to show ping times in cox.But to any hosted fps server in the US im under 100ms.this ping pong type lag usually happens when ping exceedes 300ms.Thats the pings I get from a server in russia from the great lakes area.To get that type of ping in the US means the host must be running on a space available basis,rerouting all over,and using scrap equipment.
