Seriously, what's the point of making vanguard flame posts over and over and over? Is it because you spent too much time playing eq1 instead of living a real life? I dunno making friends, getting some, etc?
If you're gonna complain about a game you dont even play, why not do it in the general forum so that people who actually enjoy playing the game can have constructive conversations without the risk of some loser hijacking the thread.
"Lawlz!! Vanguard sucks! Deal with it! LOTRO is the new black nUbZ." = older than your grandma's teats only less interesting.
And yeah I find your grandma's nip-nips interesting.

Sad but true.
I wasnt starting this post to slander anyone or their views, but I wanted to remind others that it would be more constructive to express those views elsewhere. I would also like to add that there is nothing irrational about my statements as you can clearly see from any one of the top 10 threads for this board, that this behavior is commonplace, unnecessary, and rather irritating to people that wish to have said "rational discussions." Thank you as well, for taking YOUR slanderous accusations elsewhere.

If you're looking for a more closed community that strictly caters only to fans of the game, I'd suggest going through the sites on this list, and finding one that more suits your needs:

The same could be said for any of the pages listed on the given link. Just because MMORPG.com wasnt listed on that site doesnt make this particular node any less valid a forum for constructive conversation. This node of MMORPG is just like any other node or forum associated with a gaming site, be it Ten Ton Hammer, WarCry, IGN, etc.
Actually, a stickied thread titled "Official 'We're Angry about SOE" Thread' seems to have been set aside for general complaints about Vanguard and SOE within the vanguard forum. Perhaps this was to steer the flamers to post there? It seems to me that MMORPG would tend to agree with my sentiment, and would like to see that flame threads dont dominate the board. But then you and I both would be speaking for the people who run this site now wouldnt we? My apologies to MMORPG, and good luck to you as well miss!
Er, no. If you read the original post in that thread, it was created because of the massive negative reaction to Vanguard making the jump to SOE. It was a way to consolidate all of those threads into one big one, because all of the flames about VG dealing with Sony were flooding the board and preventing discussion about anything else.
Other than that, the boards here are for anyone to make any topic they feel is valid. That includes people with a negative slant on a game.

Could they not also do their negative slanting in one of the general forums? It seems absurd that when someone asks a valid question about this specific game the thread is hijacked by off topic immature comments. See my example in the first post for instance. You see Lidane? This is the type of discussion I hoped to promote, and I appreciate your input. After taking your suggestion and reviewing the posts MMORPG may indeed have moved it because of the partnership, but I think you'll find most of the discussion centers again around "VG sucks. F sony!. Wow is KIng!" posts and without these posts and threads would not have flooded the board.

I think korusus is 100% right, if your new to the boards dont tell the people that have been here for years how to post on there own forums. If they think Vanguard sucks and you dont agree with them...... well, why not just find a place that doesnt think vanguard sucks....

We arent telling anyone how to post on "their own forums." No matter how long ago, once we make a forum account they become "our" forums. Are you going to walk up to someone on the sidewalk that's a year younger than you, push them into the street and say they cant walk there because you've been alive longer?No one ever listens, you would think they would take the hint.
I didn't realize that people's enjoyment of the game was so tenuous that it could be jeopardized by
someone saying something less than complimentary about the game.
Maybe the viral marketing isn't quite as effective as some had hoped.
If you are such a fan of the game, why are YOU here? Obviously, this site's members aren't up to snuff with you because they aren't all about how Vanguard is the best ever.
Also, if you are so in love with VG, what do you care how the "elitists" post about it. Go join one of the carefully-screened boards that ban those with the audacity to dissent.
Sheesh, do you even have a point? Besides how much you dislike seeing so many people disappointed with the game? Maybe its time to consider doing what the vanbois are always telling others.."People who like the game are playing, not on boards defending it."

They should scrap there entire system and do it your way, since you have a whole 20 days of experience in the company.

What does that have to with anything what the original poster asked? Sure it was a vague example but it's a summary of the type of nonsense you find acceptable. It'd be nice if the community was helpful instead of weighed down with cyber-egotists that hide behind their keyboards and have delusions of grandeur.
First let me say I’m sorry if you felt I was bullying you, it was never the reason why I posted here. I’m very serious about this, and hope you don’t think it was a personal attack in any way.
I would also like to say that I agree with you in many areas, I think many of the anti vanguard trolls do take it to far (not all but some do).
I would also like to point out that my philosophy has always been if you play vanguard and enjoy it kudos’ to you. It wasn’t the game for me but it doesn’t matter.
With that out of the way I would like to say my point is it’s not wise to try and join a forum, and then start telling us where to post.
If you’re on these boards and have a good reputation (e.g. Being non biased, rational when posting, and well know to the community) it’s more likely that people will listen to what you have to say. Sadly though if you haven’t been here even a month….. It’s not likely that you have enough respect from the members where they would think about listening to what you have to say.
P.S. try to avoid the LEET speak when trying to make a point you want taken serious, and also try and be less condescending especially in your opening paragraph. It really will help more people listen to what you have to say then just ignoring what you have to say.
Oh and Thosewhoharp once again I seriously hope i didnt anger you. I just thought it was ironic and got carried away. I like to play the devil's advocate.
