Okay so i finally got it, I installed it which took like 4 hours.. lmao.

I played it, loved it, leveled up.. lol im at jeuno now.

24war-15-mnk

but this game either on purpose or by accident is really difficult and confusing.

i mean, i hear about a quest from some random NPC i pass by and never hear about it again and the menu info(about quests) is ridiculous. so eventhough i tried some quests i didnt even know where to find others or even how to finish them.

so that only leaves me at rank 2. and the quests that i did find are kind of strong fot a solo... i'd have to be in a party since starting the game.

and not only that... if i didnt ask around or meet new people i wouldnt even know wat to do and prolly stay in bastok for years.

and the money.. lol.. the gil making and cost is pretty bad.. u have to farm for hours to upgrade one item. thanks to many helpful players i got by but at the moment im so discouraged to keep playing cause i dont even know where to START!. lol..

im in jeuno, little gil, cant leave bat.downs to find choco for quest. cant go back to bastok because its a half an hour trip and my gear isnt good cause again i dont have money.. lol.. my rank is low cause i dont know about any quests...

even if i decided to farm, i dont even know what gives good drops or wat to sell..

o yea, and the store basically robs u when u sell em something and the AH takes forever and at jeuno im getting charged 200 to put something up for auction. lol

i love this game LMAO

I really do but everything stated above would be fine if i had ppl my level running around asking for farm parties or quest parties but the only parties i find are for XP.

I wish i would have played this game when it first came out.

but, to the point, can anyone give me some sites to help me with the things stated above??

I suggest that since you are lvling your first jobs, you should try to "parallell-lvl" them. Meaning, it would be a VERY good idea to lvl your MNK before progressing. One of the reasons is that you can use much of the same gear for both jobs if you keep their lvls relatively close, which again saves money. If you lvl your MNK to around 25, then you can finish the next area for both jobs (the jungles outside Kazham). But before you get there, you need a pass for the airship. You either need to pay 148,000 gil for the pass, which is ridiculous, or do a quest where you need to get a key from each of these areas: Giddeus, Palborough Mines and Ghelsba. If you're in a nice linkshell, it shouldn't be hard to get help with it. If you happen to be on Fenrir server, just ask and I'll help you with it. I'm Netspook there too. Btw, you will still have to pay 200 gil for each trip with the airship to/from Kazham, and this is the only airship you will be able to travel with for now.
In the area after the jungles, you can "finish" lvling your sub, since you don't need to take it further than 37 to get your main job to lvl 75.

You REALLY should take yourself GOOD time in new cities, talk to everyone and get all available quests. But you do not have to rush off to complete loads of them immediately. Missions, NOT quests, will increase rank. The only real reason to try to get rank up early, is to make signet stick longer. +1 hour for each rank you are. But: you SHOULD try to get rank 3 soon. Why? Simple - the fight you must do has a lvl 25 cap, and you now have the equips for it. So, if you are above, you will be lowered to the cap when entering the so-called BC. You can be up to 6 ppl in the party for this fight. It is NOT possible to solo it.

What you should start with from now, is going back to Valkurm Dunes as a MNK/WAR, OR do the Kazham airship pass quest. I suggest starting with Dunes. Get someone to escort you, or rent a chocobo.
Money IS NOT easy in this game, at least not in the beginning. Sell what you can, preferably in your hometown for craft items, etc, and gear below lvl 20. You could consider to make a "mule" (extra character) to send stuff to, who can either store what you wanna save or sell what you wanna get rid off. That way you could sell crystals in Bastok for a much lower fee than in Jeuno. Sending stuff to other chars is free.
even if i decided to farm, i dont even know what gives good drops or wat to sell..
Here's what was helpful for me, and you are more than strong enough for all:
Near San d'Oria: fighting stuff in Ghelsba area is good if you wanna collect fire crystals (i think it was fire). King Ranperre's Tomb (middle area) is great, kill worms for Ascetic's rings and flint stones.
Near Bastok: Fighting in Dangruf Wadi (middle area) is great since you can get both gausebit grass and Hermit's rings.
Near Windurst: Giddeus, mostly for Yagudo Bead Necklaces. These shouldn't be sold though, better to deliver them in Windurst to increase Norg/Tenshodo fame. (You will need lots of that later, if you wanna do the Ninja quests there.) But mobs in this area also drops low lvl equips, magic scrolls etc, which may be a nice income for a starter.

I'm glad you love it, cause imo it's probably the best game ever! ^^

Most parties WILL be for exp or missions. You will have severe problems getting ppl to help you to farm. The only exception is BCNM battles, which can be very rewarding. But you need to be a bit stronger for that. Hold on to EVERY Beastman's Seals you get, since you will need them for this.
I wish i would have played this game when it first came out.
