How is the pvp in L2? Is there a point to it or is it just run and kill who ever you see.The best pvp game i played so far is DAOC, so im looking for that type of pvp not wow pvp.

    l2 pvp has a point, thats why i think it's the best pvp game out there.

     

    one pvps for several reasons.  to build up clan reputation points to get gear, to fight wars against clans over casltes (if your clan/ally owns a castle you get a BUNCH of benefits) and to compete in the Olympiad for more benefits.

    If you run around PvPing anyone you see, you can do that but you will eventually lose your precious gear and your reputation as a PKer will come to haunt you.



    Theres PvP for a point. You can just pvp in the arena anytime you like without reprecutions. Outside you PvP clans you dislike, players who annoy you, players who have a bad reputation and no one cares if they live or die. Basically the PvP creates the politics in Lineage 2, which is extremely well crafted.
