Problems with Open Beta

in Lord of the Rings Online
Hi this is my first time doing beta and I am doing beta for Lord of the Rings Online.  When I chose a world (or server) to go into an !     comes up and it says this:   Can't open the data files.  Check that they exist and that you have permission to write to them.  The program will now exit. [201]



Game Error 11 (up top left corner. 



I don't know what to do sadly can anyone help ?

    You may have to re-install the client.  It seems that some files either got corrupt or are missing somehow.  Uninstall what ya have and re-install.

    Only problem I've had so far is the very first time I was ready to travel into the final noob instance, the game crashed. It hasn't crashed on me since then, despite doing that three times with different characters so far.



    No one here can really help though, either submit a ticket from the HELP system, or post on the beta forums.

    If you are receiving this error, try reinserting you LOTRO disk into your disk drive and choose the repair option. If this does not correct the problem, please contact Technical Support.

    Are you certian that you actually have the client downloaded?

    You may need to download it using a download manager, most beta testers did. You may also need a special launcher software, that is mentioned on the tech support forum.

    If you can get to the launch window, click on the community tab and go to the support forum. You'll get better help there than you can here.

    Ahhhhhhhh  .  Thx for the help guys  I still can not find out the problem though.  Ill just not beta this game its cool.  I dont think either way I was gonna buy the game .  But thx

    Don't give up yet!

    Let me guess you are running Vista right???

    Run LOTRO under administration mode and the game will update.
