in Lord of the Rings Online
I installed the game and everything but when i try to log on it  i get this error



 "Resource string for token "SslControl.CertificateExpired" Could not be found.

then the application just closes



Anyone know whats up with it?

    No idea, Im getting the same error and about to reinstall

    For a couple days i was having to have Internet Explorer open or the application would close. I think its an issue with their pop-up thing. No idea if its the same problem..i dont remember getting any errors.

    Oh and they were having longin server issues on sunday. Havent logged in today. Thats probably the problem. Just keep trying.

    Edit: just tried loggin in..no problems for me today. I dunno what to tell ya guys.

    Tried the IE deal, no dice. Also tried reinstalling it and Im getting the same error, any idea?

    Figured it out, set  your internal clock via windows set up to the correct date and time. Id bet thats why its not working for you. I would also bet that AIM doesnt work right now either does it?

    OK, how bout this one, can't find anything documented on it.  My roomie made an account, and started a character playing on my computer.  I come home, he gets off, installs it on his laptop, logs in and... where did my character go?



    He even tried every different server there, his character is gone, but if he logs onto my box, its there.  Do you mean to tell me that this game saves characters locally?  I find that INCREDIBLY hard to believe, so what else is the deal?  Is is some sort of sick, twisted, open beta pyschological warfare?



    Any suggestions would be appreciated as it would be nice to be able to play together, lol.
