Only get email notifications if post quoted.

hello staff, i do have lots of ideas for forums, so here is one of my favorites.



i don't know if this is even possible ( probably not or just more trouble than its worth, because i have seen i nowhere ). instead of only having the option to subscribe or not to subscribe to a thread. i though it would be cool to have an option that would only notify you if someone has quoted one of your responses. that way instead of getting a million emails and searching trough the long list of responses to see if anyone has made a comment directed towards you. the user could just look in his/her inbox and see who has made a comment towards them.



as always this is a great site...but you know what they say nothings perfect, but your getting close

I like this idea, I would use it myself.  We'll see what's up, might be a bit for this one, since we have other things already queued up.  We do have plans to add a lot to how the subscribe works (more options, over view modes, and a lot of control), but you know how it is: priorities, and time.  Eventually it will all get in there.

cool nice to see that staff actually listens to the people. and i know how things like this can be. its probably hard enough keeping the site up and running, fixing bugs, and adding new content about games, let alone having to add new features.

Great Idea im 10)% for that.

I liked the idea of getting email notification when someone responds to a topic your replying to, but I "HAVE TO" come back when soeone actually says something in response to something I said!
