The problem is that most game companies will damper the combat system so that completely unskilled people, that may even have epilepsy, can still play and succeed.
Many factors, like the WoW and the whole epic gear ish-ew, or games where there are certain incredibly powerful specs (Hello, Guild Wars), and things like that.
It makes the factor of talent and skill almost nil if a game is dependent on certain items, or where one arrangement of talents or skills makes you nigh unbeatable, detracts from PvP.
So, yeah.
