Rper pondering eq2

((hello, i am writing here to get a good gauge of the community of eq2 and the level of rping, serverwise(ie, good servers,etc) and in the game in general.  Ive a few years experiance in rping ,and a couple in rping on mmos.  i played swg after the first cu, up until the nge in which i quit.  ill leave the discussion on swg for another tiem, but needless i moved onto new games.  i tried out cov/coh but didn't really dig the game mechanics(ie,lack of player housing,crafting class,etc).  and moved onto another game. my wife plays WoW and ive been trying that one out, but it really doesn't click the way swg used to, story wise, community,roleplay,etc.    so anyway, ive been looking at eq2, and have played a trial a year ago and am thinking of testing it again before making my decision.  also, ill post up here and elsewhere to  get a good gauge of how the community feels about the game.

 

if the wording is off on this post, my bad, im tired as hell,heh.   rarely do i get a long weekend like this one,lol.  yay, federal holidays,lol.

Just try the free trial I suggest the fae trial I believe any good race can start there if you pick an evil race you start in freeport, anyways you have nothing to loose, there are rp servers and some pretty good rp in this game there are so many races the rp options are pretty limitless in my opinion. On top of that the wide variety of classes just keep in mind this is not a super fast leveling game like wow so if you are one to experience the quests and explore it may not be for you,
