Is that what it is for sure? This will probably change my mind. I might keep it around as a casual back up game or something.

The epic storyline ( questline ). The one thing that is new to me ( previously played swg/WoW / eq2 / Vanguard ), is a real story within the game. The epic questline from level 1 to level 50 is a big hook for me ( and many others ) and is something i always wanted to see in an MMO.

How many of these are there?

    Please don't say one.

You only get that pricing if you pre-order. Also, if you ever cancel, you pay regular price when you resub.

And if I like that, but I want to be free from raiding?

It is a rattrap, like WoW, EQ, EQ2, Vanguard...I am sticking to CoH/CoV until another MMO understands that point, and if this is in 5, 10, 20 years, so be it.  I am not a raider, I don't want to raid, and if you reward these *self censoring an insult toward the raiders in general* at the expanse of grouping, then the devs understand nada and are not worth my time.  Best groupers, have to be groupers; not raiders!  Ask Aragorn and Legolas...not the elven raid leader who died anyway (and who knows his name anyway?  At least, Boromir the soloer, we all knows his name)!

Will keep people for sure. Other MMO makers should follow this model. (salute) Turbine. I also like the 199.00 model as well. Gives people choices instead of the slowly rising prices of the station pass.
