Ive just started the game two days ago and I have been usuing the FFXI cylopedia website to find all the questgivers. I am stumped right now though. then dont pin point locations on the map for you instead, under the location section they give you something like

(G-5)

How do I use this co-ordinate system?

Just goto your map and match up the coordinates on the left side and the top.

You have to scroll your map up and down to see the grid line letters and numbers, it is just one of those things people don't realize at first.
